The recent Australian tragedy where a gun toting music lover shot and killed his neighbour for complaining about the loud tunes had me wondering who is in the wrong? Granted, blowing a father of four away is far too extreme a penalty but don’t we all agree there are certain songs that command us to pump the decibels through the roof.
As the Mercury rises the pleasure increases
I’m talking a limited selection of rowdy, thumpin’ rhythms that should be permitted by law to give the DJ the power to use the maximum wattage available. Obviously there would also have to be stringent penalties for breaking the decibel barrier with inappropriate material.
Which brings me to my list, or should I say lists. Two of them, first the “Yays” that inspire, astound, assault and unleash every pore in the essence of your being.
