Bloc Party's Second Revealed
September 18th 2006 12:53
Many fans of Bloc Party would already know that close to three weeks ago, Kele Okereke revealed on the XFM radio station in London that Bloc Party's followup to "Silent Alarm" would be titled "A Weekend in the City." Barely has that news gotten out the door that more has managed to cram its way in - the coverart for the new album has mysteriously appeared on the album's dedicated wiki. Here is the cover in all its glory:
Beautiful, no? Of course, Bloc Party is well versed in good coverart - their debut album, "Silent Alarm," had a brilliant and malleable cover of its own accord. The second album's tentative release date is set for February 2007, with titles like Waiting For The 7.18, Uniform, Perfect Teens, England and Song For Clay.
