That's right, just when you thought Fifty Cent had disappeared entirely, and that the Apple marketing department couldn't think of anymore alliances to be wrought, along comes this. Drowned in Sound are reporting that 50 Cent has reportedly signed a deal with Apple in order to create a line of affordable computers for poor inner-city children. Ok, so with all the news of $100 educational laptops and whatnot, affordable computers aren't so farfetched in this arena, but there's only so far you can go with marketing and such. I mean, what are they going to call it, the gMac? Oh well, power to them.
PS: Yes, the g stands for gangsta. Or G-Unit. But preferably gangsta.
