11 Songs that put you in a good mood?
In recent years music therapy as an accessory medical treatment to many physiological and even a few physical ailments has shown signs of success. It is pretty much scientifically accepted that certain tunes inspire well being care of numerous studies into the subject.
The nasty side of the coin is that certain types of melody also subconsciously manipulate the listener. Retail shoppers for instance can be more open to spend. This is never more obvious that at Christmas when yuletide carols and cover versions accompany our every trip to the mall in an effort to hypnotise us shoppers into a festive move.
But I digress; this is a post about songs that we think inspire our own idiosyncratic sense of happiness and make us healthy. So a listing of the tracks from the soundtrack to “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” is not what I’m looking for.
So here is a list of 11 songs that personally elevate my mood and can often combat the blues just by their presence in the background of my life. Sounds that make me feel elated, boisterous, ready to party or chilled out, relaxed and distressed after a hard days work. (In No Order)
