Gnarls Barkley defaced Paris?
September 6th 2006 13:40
Two days ago, the world has usunder that someone would even dare to deface dear old Paris Hilton. What's more, while it was known that Robert Banks was behind the physical defacement of the album, the remixes that the replaced CD actually contained belonged only to a mysterious DJ under the sole name, "DM." Now, someone has come forward to claim responsibility for the action, and that is none other than Danger Mouse, better known as "the other guy" in Gnarls Barkley.
Of course, Danger Mouse has built up a reputation of his own within the music industry - not only for being the driving force in Gnarls Barkley, but also for being an esteemed producer, Gorillaz' second album "Demon Days," amongst his production repertoire. In a statement from Danger Mouse's management, it was reported that he said: "It's hard to improve on perfection, but we had to try." So Paris Hilton's work is perfect? Apparently so.
Nevertheless, there is still no news of the whereabouts of a copy of the remixes, but if I it is available, be sure to find it here.
