Rolling Stone flattens the Killers
September 26th 2006 23:58
"Sam's Town" is the second album by Las Vegas rockers the Killers, and it hits music store shelves this Saturday. But Rolling Stone have already slammed the album which was touted by frontman Brandon Flowers to be the "best album in twenty years." Accusing them of ripping off the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Morrissey throughout the album, Rob Sheffield from the Rolling Stone has given the album a lousy two stars. Big surprise? Probably not. But you can read the rest fo the review here.
And of course, no prospective album release is complete without a leak of some sort. Last night, the album was leaked to the Internet, and MTV have been quick to jump on the bandwagon, streaming the entire album on their "The Leak" website. Post your thoughts.

Flowers is a bit full of himself though, and some of his lyrics are pretty questionable.
But it's a good album nonetheless.
