Michael Jackson duped again?

Stereogum is reporting that Michael Jackson has actually received an MTV Award and, apparently, this time it's real. Jackson has received the Legend Award during the Japanese MTV Awards. Well, if the Japanese love him then... they're the only ones that do. Jackson has been reduced to nothing more than a publicity figure who surfaces every now and then for absolutely no reason.

He is a legend. I don't care much for his personal life but as an artist, performer and entertainer he's amazing and the impact that he's had on his generation and that to come is undeniable. He's working on his new album so he's been on the low for a while, but the poor guy needs a break from the world; I don't know if he's really that insane or not but he's a genius...
