MTV today premiered the video for the second single to be lifted off the Killers' new album, Sam's Town
. The single, "Bones," is taken very literally in the video, though so was "When You Were Young."
The choice of this song for a single is very questionable - it is probably the biggest evidence supporting the claim that the Killers have simply copied Bruce Springsteen. With a wierd "come with me" catchphrase intro, a campy synthesiser riff and a brass foundation, it's a little too Springsteen to be truly likeable by those who don't already have an affiliation with the Boss.
