Rockin' in the USA

Coachella is here my friends - the Hullapalooza and Woodstock of the 21st Century. What will undoubtedly be the biggest musical festival in California this year, Coachella is the American Glastonbury - the concentrated indie music festival desired by all. This years Coachella will feature more bands than you can think of - Sigur Ros, Bloc Party, She Wants Revenge, The Magic Numbers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Youth Group, My Morning Jacket - just to mention the ones I know. Over Saturday and Sunday, they'll be playing back to back in what might possibly be the ultimate gig of a lifetime.
So why mention this when the majority of my readers are Australian and have no chance of actually getting there? Because for the first time, Coachella sponsor AT&T, that huge communications conglomerate, has decide to reward people all over the world with the opportunity to watch Coachella through a live webcast of the majority of the concert, both Saturday and Sunday. That's right, you can watch these guys live, share the emotions and be a part of musical history.
You can check out the webcast here.
The schedule for the bands is here.
