Supermassive Ultrabig Extronormous... I give up

This Week in Music
One of my favourite newspieces for this week - Muse have announced that their first single from the next album, Black Holes and Revelations, will be titled Supermassive Black Hole and will be released on June 19th, but be available for download (not sure how) a week earlier on June 12th. The album itself is available from July 3rd. Many long-running fans of Muse were slightly disappointed from their last album, Absolution and it is true that they have departed somewhat from the style of their debut album, Showbiz.
I have listened to the single quite a few times, and some people have described it as Britney Spears song. As much as it pains me to say it, it does. Thankfully Matthew Bellamy's unique vocals redeems the song beyond knowing. If the rest of the album is like this, then Muse has truly blown it. Then again, their main single from Absolution, Time is Running Out was nothing like the rest of album (on the contrary, it too was a good song). There is a total lack of classical piano in this single (though hopefully that doesn't follow suit on the album) but I guess we just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, check out their Official Site, for news and stuff.
