1. AC/DC
2. INXS
3. Bee Gees
4. Little River Band
5. Hoodoo Gurus
6. Midnight Oil

7. Cold Chisel
8. Paul Kelly
9. Powderfinger

These first nine songs are all time best Australian bands and musicians.
When you think of these bands/musicians they are in my opinion the top of there style, very influential and well known, in other country’s not just in Australia.

I did try do be as objective as I could be when it come to these Australian bands not to say any of these bands are put in there for any other reason than there musicals skills. But I must say I don’t listen to the Bee Gees as much as I would like to, I can still appreciate their musical genius and the way they influents disco music.

Top four soon to be top rockers

1. John Butler Trio
2. Pete Murray
3. Angus and Julia Stone
4. Ash Grunwald

What can I say great bands and great music.
John butler trio already well known but there fame is not yet hit their peek.
Pete Murray has such a pure voice and a nice simple music style laidback beach guitar and vocals he can’t help but be popular with people like jack Johnson and Ben Harper paving the way for him, just good tuck and good timing to come into the music scene.

Angus and Julia stone and ash Grunwald although very different styles ash with his blues and Angus and Julia Stone with their pleasant soft rock, they both have a distinct Australian sound and its nice to see and hear young talent relying solely on their talents as musicians. I will be very shocked if these four bands don’t make it big.

Daniel Johns must be one of the most under-appreciated writers in Australia. His songs are awesome! His music has matured brilliantly and unlike other writers that go through a 'mid-life' crisis where their experimentations shovel a divide between them and their fan-base, Johns continues to progress whilst remaining hooking and accessible.
