The White Stripes

White Stripes
Red is the new black

Loud and obnoxious the Detroit rock duo of Jack and Meg White, known as the White Stripes amplify raw, thumping instrumentals with economic lyrics. Their sound is a witches brew of classic country, blues and rock.

Claiming to be brother and sister it turns out that Jack and Meg were infact once married. Hitting the music scene in 1997 with their first live shows, their self titled debut Album was released 2 years later.

I grudgingly admit that I enjoy some of their songs...

I liked the White Stripes/Eric B. and Rakim mashup though!
